Coherence Mapping

In Education’s Reset and a Society’s Healing, we use the Blueprint of Trauma’s Comprehensive Expression to describe the many ways unresolved trauma can affect the whole person. The blueprint identifies trauma’s impact across physiology, biology, neurology, and psychology. Within education, we often observe these effects through the familiar domains of social-emotional development, behavior, and cognitive-academic performance. When we address these domains with the intention of restoring coherence and supporting healing, we also begin to address the mental and emotional patterns that influence how students experience themselves, others, and learning. These systems are not separate. They are constantly interacting and communicating across the whole person — spirit, soul, and body. For this reason, schools and systems must be thoughtful about which resources and solutions they implement, and in what order. The goal is not to add more disconnected programs, but to reduce fragmentation and build a coherent pathway toward healing, learning, and human flourishing.
